Join our Body Safety Wise Ambassador Program, empowering children ages 4-18 as advocates for body safety and literacy in your community!

Body Safety Wise Ambassador Program

As a Body Safety Wise Ambassador, children 4-18 will have the opportunity to share their love of reading and raise awareness about the importance of body safety education in your community. Body Safety Wise Ambassadors will learn body safety, leadership, and communication skills.

Parents, teachers, child care professionals and/or community leaders can nominate a child for the program OR apply on their behalf. Trusted adults who are passionate about promoting body safety education and literacy are welcome to submit applications!

Guidelines

  • Applicants must have a passion for reading, learning, and promoting body safety education/awareness.
  • Applications must be submitted through our website, including a brief statement explaining why the applicant would be a good fit for the program.
  • Body Safety Wise Ambassadors are expected to create quality content containing our Body Safety Wise bundle, Where Hands Go series, and/or body safety education, along with the values of the Body Safety Wise Ambassador Program.
  • Adults agree to Diggs Publishing’s repurposing of any photos or videos tagged with our program's hashtag (#BodySafetyWiseAmbassador) to be featured in promotional materials.

Responsibilities

  1. Raise awareness about the importance of body safety education and literacy in your community through social media, school events, library events, and other child centered events.
  2. Agree to at least one interview with an outlet of your choice promoting body safety education and literacy.
  3. Submit monthly feedback you have received from your community, or on social media, about body safety education or the Body Safety Wise bundle.
  4. Follow the guidelines and standards set forth by the program, including appropriate use of social media.
  5. Adherence to the program's values of inclusivity and diversity.

Parents, teachers, child care professionals and/or community leaders can fill out the application form on this page. Applicants will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and successful applicants will be notified via email.
